This is how you renovate for profit
Early 1900s miners cottage renewal

In January 2015 renewable homes took the initiative to have this home removed from Arthur St, Aitkenvale (behind Toms Tavern) earlier this year. The home had been long abandoned. The only visitors that came inside were those who chose to ruin it and contribute to its decaying order. BUT! We found a very brave couple who saw the same potential as we did. They've committed to bringing this gorgeous ship wreck back to glory with a modern touch. The transformation is astounding and they deserve full credit. The total renovation cost $160,000 and went under the hammer in December 2015 for a whooping $400,000!
Our message -
While most people thought this home was only good for landfill we're taking this opportunity to show you how this is NOT the case and how to renew a home, save Townsville's architectural history and make some serious profit!
